COMPANY HISTORY

Neolec Lighting Ltd was established some 32 years ago, being both a neon signage and electrical contracting company hence the name Neo-lec. As cold cathode lighting gradually became the major part of our business, we decided there might be a conflict of interest if we continued contracting, as many of our clients were electrical contractors. We now specialise in, and have become one of the most respected names in cold cathode lighting.

Our present premises were purpose built for us 15 years ago on a large plot to facilitate expansion plans. Here we produce the most reliable and widest range of cold cathode tubing available. We have undertaken countless prestigious projects some of which you will find listed further on. Our cold cathode lighting systems are exported worldwide and have become synonymous with a reputation for quality that is the envy of our competitors. We have worked with many of the most reputable Lighting Designers for over 30 years, most of whom specify Neolec, Cold Cathode systems exclusively.

At Neolec Lighting we produce our own "Mood" lighting system, giving the ultimate in colour lighting control and mood settings. Using a combination of primary coloured tubes and a programmable dimmer system, it allows you to change the look, colour and mood of any venue at the touch of a button giving you the ultimate flexibility and use from your lighting system.

All our lighting systems are available in a myriad of colours and are ideal for demanding architectural features such as pelmets, coves/coffers and domes. They can be bent to fit any shape and provide continuous unbroken runs of lighting.

The tubing is available in a number of diameters and we will be pleased to advise you of the most appropriate to suit your purposes. Trough/Coffer design: A good design is imperative to achieve optimum effect. We will be happy to advise you. Lamp Life: Our Hi-life system has a lamp life is in excess of 30,000 hours and all other systems are in excess of 40,000 hours.
